Devon Gales: The DG33 Campaign

HIS STORY

In 2015, Devon Gales of Southern University endured a life-changing spinal cord injury on the football field against the University of Georgia. Since then, his story has spread and he has become an inspiration to everyone he meets. It is his courageous personality, his perseverance, and his infectious smile that reminds people that he won't give up and is fighting every day to accomplish his goal; to take his first steps across the same field that forever impacted him as he walks again. To help both Devon and his family, the DG33 Campaign was initiated to help fund a wheelchair accessible home and with your help, we can accomplish this goal!

 

How One Game Forever Changed His Life

With the help of Bleacher Report, a documentary was produced to spread Devon's incredible journey as it shows how one game can leave its mark and forever change the lives of those involved.  

 

DEVON GALES COLLECTION

Devon Gales and Purcello, an Italian luxury fashion brand, have collaborated to create the DG33s of the Devon Gales Collection. These Hi-Top shoes are handcrafted in Italy and are made of Italy's finest genuine python skin. The red and black colorway pay tribute to the University of Georgia, while the custom sky blue insoles represent Devon's original home of Southern University. While a portion of all profits from Purcello products are donated to Walk Again Athletic Warriors, 100% of all profits from the Devon Gales Collection will be donated to Devon Gales and his family to help fund the building of a wheelchair accessible home.
